China’s folding carton industry is currently undergoing extensive industrial upgrades as it grows in scale and sustains 30 years of continuous development. As the adverse effects of the global financial crisis fade, demand for paper products in foreign markets is rising. In China, demand is strong too and local packaging companies are switching from an export remit to concentrating on the domestic market.
Benefitting from government policies, the Chinese folding carton industry registered 17 percent year-on-year growth in 2012. Guangdong, the Chinese province with the largest printing industry, is home to over 20,000 printing companies and its annual output value exceeds RMB 150 billion (USD 23.7 billion), signs of the province’s great printing power and potential.
The three-day SinoFoldingCarton 2013 event is expected to span over 25,000sqm. More than 300 local and international exhibitors will display 600 pieces of folding carton manufacturing equipment and over 800 consumables. The exhibitors will feature a comprehensive array of creative solutions and technologies under one roof.
Buyers with high purchasing intent will visit the show in great numbers. Already several high profile companies have booked exhibition booths for SinoFoldingCarton 2013. They include Shanghai Dragon Printing Machinery, Wenzhou Qidi Machinery, Tangshan Yuanheng Printing Machinery, Shenzhen Chuangfenghua Marine Machinery, Saili, Shenzhen Tokyo Wenhong Printing Equipment and Hade.
That so many of the exhibitors who have signed up for next year’s exhibition are repeating their participation shows high levels of confidence in the show and highlights the prime position the event holds in the printing industry.
A projected 20,000+ buyers are expected to attend the show, which will include three dedicated theme zones. These are geared towards helping buyers with diverse requirements optimize the value of their time spent on-site and find specific products for their individual needs. The three zones are the Oil & Ink Zone, the Electric Monitoring Code Zone and the Packaging Paper Zone. Visitors will see the latest technologies and trends illustrated across these three areas and gain a deeper understanding of current developments in the printing industry.
The organizers of SinoFoldingCarton 2013, Reed Exhibitions, have also invited trade media and associations to come support the show and its complementary events. These include on-site activities like the Terminal User Purchasing Demand Forum, as well as a number of high-end seminars on new trends. The participation of industry media and associations will elevate SinoFoldingCarton to one of the best shows in the global folding carton industry.
Reed has also invited more than 30 local and international associations, including the US-based Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies, the All India Federation of Master Printers, the North India Printing Association, Mumbai Mudrak Sangh, the Vietnam Packaging Association, the Henan Province Packaging Technology Association, Guangdong Packaging Technology Association’s Packaging and Printing Committee and the Shenzhen Printing Industry Association.
As China’s folding carton industry continues to develop, SinoFoldingCarton is consistently driving growth. Previous editions of the show have been highly rated by local and international professionals on the buyer and supplier side for their high levels of internationalization, diversity of exhibits, quality of visitors and exceptional customer service.
With China’s folding carton industry maintaining its rapid rate of growth, SinoFoldingCarton is sure to outstrip past achievements next August as Reed Exhibitions again proves that this trade fair is the ideal showcase for the full array of folding carton processing solutions.
SinoFoldingCarton 2013 will run from August 21 to August 23 at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center.
