Eric.... Erik... you repeat alot. You remind me of grade school when kids mimicked each other for lack of a better comeback. I am sure many online predators developed their skills and hate from not being an active part of society. Not being able to fit in as a puzzle piece. I can't imagine you would pose much of a threat to anyone...most 12 y/o would run away from your ignorance. The way they pick up on predators now is amazing Erik.. they play the person like a fiddle.. You are all involved and "BOOM!" your in handcuffs... Then the predator cries like a baby and says it's his first time.. Imagine that.. a virgin predator?? Out to do harm and they get caught up in their sexual desire. It is so nice of you to worry about someones fuse.. are you becoming thoughtful??? Did you have a moment of lucidity? Careful someone might like you by the end of the day!!

In theory it sounds like a good idea but I'm not sure how well it will work. What it really comes down to is personal/parental responsibility. Keep your computers in a common area where you can keep an eye on what your child is doing. Yes I know you can't watch all the time so install software that will clue you in on what your kids are up to while you aren't there. Also, password protect all computers in your house. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

I understand what you are getting at here.
Drug dealers and drunk drivers a re a HUGE problem. But this board is online sexual predators, that's it.
Nothing to do with drugs or drunks.
I agree they are a big problem, but that is not what this discussion entails.

Gosh Eric.. I don't know whether to be excited that you are old enough to remember records that skip or should I be diappointed that you have only minimally developed at an age where you should be able to have a conversation with another adult.
For the record.. I can say that I am sure beyond reasonable doubt that you are right about drug dealers and drunk drivers on line.. But a drunk driver on line is not targeting children. I can't say the same for drug dealers.. I am sure they find easy targets on line..An adult woman in Columbia County was just picked up for accepting dirty money from another country. She got caught in a sting. This is a woman with 5 kids. Now these kids have to live with the shame that an adult caused..
And.. yes you do mimick.. to answer your question.

yeah i agree.
I look at what Kim wrote a few minutes ago,
and i think she is on the ticket.
Keep the computer in the living room where we can watch what sites the kids are on.
And install the software to help keep them off inappropriate sites as well.
