I'm embarrassed, the veterans of Korea deserve much, much better. I'm also ashamed that the Veterans Council chose to hid behind some foul mouthed Korean War Veteran in an attempt to conceal their STUPIDITY. Every member of the council should be ashamed. The only thing to do is correct their screw up and than all of them should resign in shame.

Add the names of the additional lost. Trust me, kids today don't even know there was a Korean War. It must be Bush's fault.

That memorial is a disgrace to all who served. It needs replaced immediately. And whoever the nut is that created it needs to go back and study the history books. Smh

Looks like nothing is going to be done, even after it made the national news, everybody had their laughs at the tired old vetean the "committee" shoved in the publics view and will now just sit back and wait until everything blows over. I just hope the public remembers the next time this group comes around with its hand out how stupid they really are.

There is a meeting June 11 9:30am at the Elks to discuss this matter with the Ross County Veterans Council. This is far from over.

I'm not getting my hopes up that it will be corrected. They'll be lucky to even acknowledge the veterans who were left off the monument and I'm sure they will not send the monument back to India to correct all of the engraving screwups. Korean War veterans deserved better.

On Channel 10 news this evening, I saw where an OHIO company has offered to step in and completely redo tHE Korean War monument FOR FREE. They will also do the work HERE and not need send it back to India where the orginal work was done. That's IF the local Veterans Council agrees. They may not since they have not admitted to screwing up the monument in the first place.
