I was emailed by a women claiming to be from California,2hrs from my house. She then explains that she lives in sharypovo ,Russia! Her name was Natalya, her email was different from screen name, her real name different from email nothin lined up! Her first comment was good English then every email after that was broken English! Ok here's where it got exciting, like a conspiracy haha, she would email me from the library in " sharypovo" I get it at 10 am or noon, that's two o'clock am Russia , what library is open at 2am ! Lol, next these " girls " that are too hot in the first place will never answer a direct question, they follow a format and just slip your name in the paragraph, always talking about daily life, making it real for you! I would say things like hey I thought u lived in the u.s? No response, so these girls are not in Russia at all! Her email , after I reverse traced it, came back to the u.s! The broken English is a fake, it makes it easier for them to say they don't understand you! I didn't care I had fun with it, it's not a scam unless you give them what they ask! Haha what for slip ups of your name too, they have so many fish on the line they sometimes mix your name up!

I have been chatting with Robert Carlo for a month. Said he lived near but never wanted to meet. Same story. Then he went to Ghana and his credit card would not work. So he wanted money. Shut him off right away. Beware. He used a photo of a very good looking guy and he is really nice.

mmmmmkk10110 is another scammer. 30 minutes into our first conversation she wants to have phone sex with me. Told me she was almost through with med school but couldn't answer the simplest questions about her field. So every time I asked simple anatomy questions she would shift the conversation to sex talk.

to Match.com you guys have about 70% rating of women in this country continuously getting scam by fake military men. The worst of it all is, you guys really don't care anymore then these men do about us. The 1st week I had 2 of your so called members asking me to send iphones, laptops to their orphane son in Ghana and money because they were on these secreat missions with the U>N> I call to report it to you guys and I got operators with attitudes and of course when I asked for that famouse 100% money back guarantee, your response was no. Tell me Match...are you working with these idiots also? If it's money you guys need, try starting a charity for yourselves

dear match.com shame on you for having the highest rating of women being exploided in this country with fake military personel. You apparently have no reguards for REAL AMERICAN SERVICE MEN and might as well partner with these low lifes that are always trying to extort money from us. I hope enough women complain and have your web sight shut down!!!

Only send emails to people thru match.com thru match.com . DO NOT PULL AN EMAIL ADDRESS COVERED UP IN THE WORDING & SEND STRAIGHT TO THAT ADDRESS. Also wait a day or two if you are not sure to respond & most likily their profile will not be available. The match profile is not paid so they wink for free then try to lure you in with the hidden email address. Watch out for the young girls looking for a guy that is much older or keep IM you or winking. They are scammers. Watch out for Laura Jones on match.com as she is a fraud. Puts a hot picture on there & makes it all sound like she is a quality catch. WHAT A FAKE! She & Others appear to keep registering with different user names so you will not know who it is. If they claim to be a professinal but the wording is amateur than they are a fake. Good luck & like the old saying "If it appaers to be too good to be true than it probably is". Good luck & remeber Google is your freind. Do some reaserch if at all possible but send correspondance thru the normal channels website until you are sure they are legitimate!

Just wondering if anyone has talked to a Robert Carlo from So. Burlington, Vt. He says he is in the jewelry business, went to Kentucky for business, and is going to Ghana to pick up his goods! Red Flag! His story from the start was suspiscious! Has a proffesional photo that he sent me! His daughter died in a car accident, and has his 12yr old grandson living with him.Said we are meant for each other, without even meeting! lol BE VERY CAREFUL! THANKS!
Robert Carlos contacted me two months ago and sISd he loved me right away. Sent ME All kinds of E-cards. Same story, dead wife and daughter living with grandson. His phone number was in Vermont but he claimed he lived in Utah 6 miles from me but never wanted to meet. Would not give me his address and when he finnaly did, it was fake.He had a really handsome photo. He said was Italian Irish and was educated in INDIA and Ireland. He had a PHD in fine jewels and metals. He had to go to Ghana on a consignment for rare jewels. He wrote me that when he got there, they would not take his credit card and wanted me to wire him some moeny as he had no cash. Red flag! Broke it off right then. He wrote me for a while saying that he was being scammed and he was legit. Told him where to go. Finally quit writing. He did call me from a Vermont number though and also called me from Africa.

Very easy to pick up on the match.com scams if you're a guy. 1) Her profile picture is very pretty; 2) she lives out of state or country; 3) she doesn't have a height requirement; and/or 4) she has a broad age range -- like she's in her 20s or 30s and looking for guys up to 60. If more than two of these are true, delete any winks or e-mails from her. It's a scam.

Best bet is to stick to people within a 50 mile radius and who look real and are around your age. You aren't going to land a mega hottie on match.com or any other dating website. If you could you wouldn't have to be on the site, LOL!!!People think otherwise and then get scammed.

Is this site making every member verify like www.GiggaDate.com does?
Does it guarantee every member is real?

hello,
i'm new to online dating and i just ran across a very curious girl. she sent me a message on match.com professing interest in me and how much she liked my profile. and she suggest i might email her to her yahoo address instead of through match.com .
after reading that initial match.com message, i tried clicking on her profile but it is unavailable (though her thumbnail pic still shows up in my "connections" page).
but i'm curious...her first message was very nice...the thumbnail looks good (from what i can see). so i email her yahoo address. we learn abit about eachother. she say she was born in the states. grew up in the UK. now resides in the same state as me in a city an hour or so away. she's modeling right now in nigeria...but is coming back home in one week. she plans to quit modeling.
we've exchanged 7-8 long emails in the last 2 weeks or so. and she's coming back home in one week. and wants to meet me when she gets back. no signs of typical scams...like mentions of money or tragedy or anything like that.
the thing that makes me suspicious is that her grammar is a bit off every once in a while...she's fallen for me far to quickly...she attributed some said things to me that i never said...one email contained a portion of stuff that was plagarized and used as her own...
what do you guys think? should i meet this person? or will that just wind me up in a body bag?

It is for sure a scam. I bet at the last min there will be a reason why she can't make it. Like she needs money for the flight because of some extra charge. I had a man do the same thing only he kept going to different jobs and needed work permits to finish jobs or he had no money for his hotel or food all kinds of dumb things. You won't wind up dead because she will never make it here. My scammer was so uneducated he thought he could send me a message on facebook with his real name and I wouldn't put the two together

If you do decide to meet this person I suggest you do it out in the open where you could possibly have lot of witnesses if something does go wrong.

It is funny as I am going through this right now.
Such a beautiful girl with dead parents from Italy and even has an adress here and electricity turned on in her name here! Listed in white pages but get circuits are busy.will e back next eek but needs $$ to pay for conatiners to ship back merchandise.
Won't answer or many direct questions and in the morning think it's GUY writing me PHEW! instaed of a girl.Sked for her hotel phone # so I could call her but no answer to that just another text this morning.Hurt her feelings by not agreeing to help her when that's what she needed from a man to be SURE.Oh man,it would be adream come true to have a woman so pretty and loving as her.I feel like Charlie Brown if you watched the old cartoon movies.I am going to tell her I had an emergency and play this as long as I can.Usually they get pissed and cuss you out when they know o drop you. We'll see.I was IN CYBERLOVE and it felt REAL GOOD!:( Oh well.Life nowadays.
