Scam artists using the identity of our military personnel in dating scams

@ candy RUN! yes, this whole thing is a scam and sometimes its the same person pretending to be someone else . boggs has been on this thread before . go to previous threads and you will find him and his former victim(s) also if you have been communicating with the fake (david,ramos) clean out your p.c. A.S.A.P . these scammers can and will compromise your pin and other banking info also read your e-mail Run.oh ,and never send money overseas soldiers don't need your money uncle sam compensates them too well this is so a scam cut him loose.

Thank you Deadra! I'm a widow, was married for 39 years. This is all so new to me. I knew something had to be wrong. I have only used my cell phone for communication, which is a month to month pay, no contract. He wanted me to set up a yahoo acct. But, I refused. I can't say Thank you, enough.. Sincerely, Candy

Hi Dee, if this person has sent you any pictures maybe you can find him on one of the following 2 websites www.scamdigger.com or www.romancescams.org . These 2 sites post pictures some of the scammers use. That might be one idea. Also, try a google image search. Hope this helps you. Petra

These scammers are relentless and they still try and harass me on Skype..one even said he was Daivid Petraeus..but I just block them now. There has been seven attempts to befriend me on Skype but after learning how crafty they have become I am glad this site has taught me better.

scammers are smart sometimes they hold back before letting the other shoe drop ask him for his military i.d. and his post address .there are many ways to tell if he is a scammer also if he is a scammer this could be a new alias they never stop you know the saying ...same stuff just a different toilet..goodluck.

also @aleia has he rushed you off line with in days or a week or two after meeting? has he professed his love for you immediately? has he said he's a widower raising a child alone? also pay attention to the writting I posted some signs on how to know your'e dealing with a scammer on pgs.44&45 and if he sounds too good to be true then look out he just might be and last but not least go with your gut(intuition).

Ok girls so here is a new name for you I have been contacted by a man claiming to be Kevin James,
first he told me he grew up in California, then he
told me he grew up in Florida.
Then he told me that he was divorced from his wife, because she had fooled around on him and was living with a much younger man. Strangely enough later on he sends me this other email telling me that his wife died in a car accident.
So I called him on all of it, I didn't send him any
money nor did he ask for it but he kept asking me
about money, how much I had things like that.
I blocked him from everything but beware this joker he will claim undying love for you say he is a Capatan in US Army out of Fort Bragg. He will either claim to be from Florida or California and tell you that both his parents are dead his father was in the military and his mother was a school teacher. He will claim to be in Afganistan and say that he is retiring soon.

I have been in contact from a [e-mail]. He is very smooth stating that he wants to come home, but tells you to apply for his leave has people aend you fake checks, one from sun trust bank for3000 and one from TD Bank for3000.11. Beacareful he is very quick and smooth.

I went onto this site www.romancescams.org and found the persons I thought to be Kevin James, named as James Miller. So he is one of the men who is scamming women for sure WATCH OUT!
