America's Most Obvious Tax Reform Idea: Kill the Oil and Gas Subsidies

There are 48 comments on the www.theatlantic.com story from Mar 20, 2013, titled America's Most Obvious Tax Reform Idea: Kill the Oil and Gas Subsidies. In it, www.theatlantic.com reports that:

In a world where $100-a-barrel oil is here to stay, there's no need to pad the industry's bottom line.

When Saudi Arabia's longtime oil minister, Ali Al-Naimi, opens his mouth, the world listens. Yesterday, during a speech in Hong Kong, he delivered a message that U.S. policy makers in particular would do well to take note of. The days of $100-a-barrel crude, he told the crowd, are here "for the foreseeable future."

If the evidence is "iron clad", let's see it........
I said it was iron clad evidence he was in Pakistan.

All we can do is work back from his last verified position in 2011.

So that would be Pakistan.......

And before that ??

Any evidence whatsoever he wasn't always there?

Why do we need to work back? Your original comment was:

"Yes, by all evidence Osama was in Pakistan the whole time."

So let's see all this evidence you claimed proves he was there the WHOLE time, not just 2011.

You made the absurd claim, you back it up!

Because we know for sure he was in Pakistan at some point, while there is ZERO evidence he as ever in Afghanistan at all.

When you're committing tens of thousands of American troops to topple a government in a sovereign nation, then the burden of proof is on those who supported the invasion.

Bin Laden obviously tricked Shrub & Cheney into believing he was in Afghanistan & then Iraq; had McCain been elected I have no doubt he would have been equally convinced without any evidence whatsoever that Bin Laden was hiding out in Iran so he could justify invading them too.

Bin Laden may have been an insane killer, but he was smart enough to fool the GOPasaurs; but not Obama who tracked him down and had him killed.

WOW, you are as deluded as the "truthers". I think you may want to loosen your tin foil hat!

I'll just leave it at that.....

Of course you'll leave it at that, because you have no proof otherwise.

Face it, Bin Laden managed to fool the brilliant Shrub & Cheney dynamic duo and got them to take out his enemies in Afghanistan & Iraq.

No I'll leave it at that because you're as clueless as a truther with your baseless conspiracy theories.

And no amount of proof is ever enough to disprove their wacko ideas.

"Osama is proven in Pakistan in 2001 because he died there in 2011"

There's your headline - congrats you have reached truther levels of stupidity!

When you offer ANY evidence that he was somewhere other than Pakistan, please submit it.
