This oil spill disaster and the fallout goes to show the challenges engineers must meet while producing energy. Mistakes are often disastrous and the cost to the companies continue to grow several years after these disasters (By the end of June, the costs of compensation had hit $9.6 billion, and since then, they have continued to climb).

If Bp is allowed to weasel out of there obligation it set presidence for other billion dollar companies to come to the United States and decimate our Eco systems, and our economy with no consequence or regards
to our way of life.
Everyone here on the Gulf Coast was and still is negatively affected from the Bp oil spill.
Bp needs to step up to the plate as a responsible company and take care of there responsibilities
to the people here on the Gulf Coast.
