if you use 100% gasoline you will get better gas mileage ethonal is a corrosive and reduces the gas mileage. Tell me what kind of math are you doing that getting bad gas mileage will produce less pollution , and adding one more automobile to a junk pile can't be good for the earth.

If all the comments about ethanol are true, more energy needed to produce than it provides, problems
affecting engine parts, so on and most of all what it takes away from the world food supply. What the hell is wrong with the goverment in this country.

It is nothing short of amazing how much myth gets passed around as fact. It is not only amazing, it is dangerous. Some people assume that if you "believe" something, it must be true. Some people believe in global warming, therefore it must be true. Some people believe that global warming is nonsense, therefore it must be false.
Some people believed the earth is flat....some believed in dowsing...some believed that night air gave you malaria...some believed there are witches....some believed that Jupiter is a god....
There is far too much believing out there. It makes life so easy, you see.
Thank you. Unfortunately, rational thought is not promoted in this country.

The only global warming is the normal cycle that the Earth goes through. It occurs naturally not because of non ethanol gas. I hate all you freaking hippies. Go hug a tree somewhere.

I am as sick of this ethanol gas as every one else it has really destroyed all my small engines my truck went from 15 mpg to about 7 mpg has no power anymore and has a hard time starting in the mornings anymore and the truck is a nice low miles truck. I have found something I use on all my engines every few tanks I use some sea foam in the gas and it seams to restore it back to what it was before this ethanol crap but it slowly creeps back each tank a ethanol I run through it. It is a temporary fix. But we need a permanent fix.

I agree with all of you that say ETHANOL is bull crap. I know a few very impotant people that have told me that in the process of making ethanol it actualy takes the same amount of gasoline to make the ethanol if not more. So in other words for every gallon of gas that you buy there is rougly 15% of ETHANOL in it, but it took 15% or more of one gallon of gasoline to make that 15% of ETHANOL. So tell me what are we gaining here? Actualy if you do the math we aren't gaining anything, we;re losing. It has also been prooven in lab tests and by normal everyday people around the world that ETHANOL burns much cooler than gasoline(so it gives you much worse gas milage than standerd ETHANOL-FREE gasoline), and ETHANOL has also been prooven to be extreamly corrosive so it will most definitely distroy your engine at an accelerated rate. I really wish we could do something about this but it seems like from my point of view that everyone in this country with atleast half a brain that wants to stop this atrocious mess either isnt even close to being in the position to say something, or just plain doesn't have the balls to stand up n say "screw you, what you are doing to the citizens of the United States of American is 100% wrong.

My Hess/Wilco (in Virginia) put a 10% ethanol sticker on the pump 2 weeks ago. I did not buy the gas. I checked at sheetz - 10% sign on pump. The Shell in Maryland - 10% ethanol sign on pump. Only Marathon in my town does not have the sign, but it may have the ethanol. SO - I also would like to know if there is gas without ethanol available. It's not like the price went down when the ethanol went in. And i want my engine to last a while.
You would have to ask the gas stations if they buy e10. It doesn't pay for them to get ethanol-free gasoline due to government tax credits for using it, just like bio-diesel. They're not going to pull money out of they're profit to sell you 100% gasoline. I'm pretty sure if they have ethanol in they're gasoline , by law they have to have the sticker saying contains 10% ethanol(at least in Pennsylvania they do). Usually if they have ethanol free gasoline at they're station they will have a big sign saying ethanol free gasoline. if you think about it, if they didn't have this big sign no one will buy they're more expensive gasoline when they can go to a competetor right next door for cheaper, even though they don't have ethanol.

studies have proven that ethanol is more damaging than ever to the environment then conventional gasoline. MTBE was an additive that ethanol is in place of. MTBE was found to be cancer causing. Ethanol absorbs water so it doesn't make its way into your engine due to water being in petroleum pipelines which is un-avoidible.(and so you we cut down on our crude consumption). I also work with ethanol everyday, it is very nasty. The only difference between ethanol and jim beam is that it is denatured so people dont drink it. i inhaled it by accident and it almost knocked me on my back. it felt like someone through a brick at my chest, very nasty

We need ethanol free gas as the ethanol is causing water build up in our fuel tank and even using HEET or other additives to remove the water isn't enough. It's causing our van cylinders to misfire and we get the check engine light and out van will begin shimming like it's going to cut off and HAS cut off especially right after we fill the tank up. This is especially scary if it cuts off when I'm in the middle of making a turn AGAINST traffic. I've almost had more than one wreck caused by this. Please tell me if you know any gas stations near Bremerton WA that do NOT use ethanol.
star-tron removes ethanol and moisture from fuel system. Ethanol alone will not cause your engine to misfire. Are you sure it isnt the trade-in light illuminated on your dashboard?

If you have a Walmart card they will discount gas at the Murphy Station if you buy at that store 15 cents per gallon. However sense using Murphy I have noticed my milage drop. The lot is small and you have to wait for the folks blockng the drive way buying ther smokes and candy.

Gw is a scam. Ethanol will ruin your car engine and cut into your MPG therefore you need more gas to go as far as you could without the ethanol. We are led by idiots
