Welcome to California, home of the highest energy prices in the country. Interestingly enough also home of the most enviro whacks and their policies and regulations.

I wonder if there is a connection.

Funny how the prices always go up before a holiday, huh? I'm sure the price will drop about 40 cents per gallon right before the election, though. It's all George bush's fault, though, right?

Supply and Demand results in a true Equilibrium Price; not the case here.

We have a society the has to buy gasoline; this is a true gouge.

I wish the Real M. V. would return; at least he had a real nack for his comments.

That may be true, but in order to do that you are forced to drive a crappy POS of a vehicle.

Both my Honda and Ford F150 are awesome. You're uninformed. Thank you for paying all those federal excise taxes for me so I can drive on nice roads at your expense. LOL!

And thank you for subsidizing the purchase of my vehicles through federal grants, state rebates, and tax credits. God I love NGVs, why would anyone drive anything else? Just keep opening your check book for me! LOL!

The per-gallon price on gasoline doesn’t tell the whole story. What are the per-mile fuel costs for the NGV and an otherwise identical gasoline-powered car?

Typical jealous rant by a consumer of filthy diesel fuel burned in an old rattling truck getting eight miles a gallon. I'll bet your ass is really sore every time you bend over to pay for diesel fuel. Thanks again for paying those federal excise taxes for me and subsidizing my vehicles. LOL! What a loser. Run along, your sheep are calling you...daaaaaaaaady.

Today, I will walk to the store to save myself some gas money.

I drove a natural gas car for a while, found it to be sluggish from the get go, but then ok. Planning your trips and finding fuel was a bit of a pain though.........

Negative! My NGVs have lots of low end torque; if anything, they have a slight delay in acceleration above 2,000 rpm at 70 mph. But at five cents a mile, who cares. Let the gas guzzling, filthy gasoline burning vehicles pay over $4/gal, I don't care. As they creep along bumper to bumper on the freeway, I wave at them as I cruise by in the diamond lane all by myself because I have the special sticker on my car giving me the right to use the diamond lane anytime I want to use it. LOL! Thank you everyone who drives a gasoline or diesel powered vehicle!
