Business men all the way. If another company other than oil or tobacco makes a great profit it's great news. Another waste of the taxpayers money. All talk and no action.

Sure they care!!!! They are laughing their collective butts off!
One makes $12 million a year??? They could care less about the working class. And neither does congress! We pay for their vehicles and we pay for their gas!!!!!!! The whole bunch make me sick!! Until the truckers, the airlines and etc. come to a complete halt to stop this rapeing of our country, congress will do nothing and neither will the oil company executives! Listen up people, they don't give Jack shit about us!!

Why should they give jack about you? All you do is vote for people that restrict and block them trying to do business. I wish one of them would have some backbone and call the senators to testify why they have outlawed drilling in our own country.

totally agree. They scream and yell and put on a big show but nothing changes and they knew all along nothing would. It's big joke and we are paying for it.

Leave the Oil Execs out of it!!! America land of free enterprise!(no I am not in the oil biz) The problem here is not the oil co's my guess is they are making the same % profit that they've been for the past 25 years. The difference is that they are grossing billions not millions because?? A weak very weak self serving Political conspiracy! Whats it mean? If we had real Leadership We would tell the "ROYAL FAMILY" We saved your necks country way of life, we will pay you 50.00 per barrel. But unfortuately the Republicans and democrats are both weak pathetic parties, having no regards for the American People!

This is the biggest crock I have ever heard. Oil companies are getting richer and richer and particularly the executives. Can you tell me what kind of job someone does that should bring in a yearly salary of $12.5 million? Give me a break - they are getting rich at the public expense while families are struggling just to feed their children. Congress could and should do something about this - but their pockets are getting lined as well.
These people will answer to a much higher power someday for what they are doing to this country!!!

I'm curious...How much gas are they using for their wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? And why no one ever talks about it...But yet we, the consumers get blamed for demand. I would bet if both wars ended now. Oil prices would plummet.

Our problem is we have a whole bunch of people running the country who know exactly nothing except to put on their DEPENDS in the morning so they wont soil the chair that they sit their fat dumb asses in all day and claim they are working for the people. They havve had since 1974 to whemn Peanut Man was President to get soomething started and they have done JACk SHIT. I think it is time we sent them to the Rest Homes and cut off their heat so they would learn what it is like aout here in the real world. Vote the bastards out in November.

some of those senaters make more than the oil execs and all they do is stop the oil companys
from drilling in this country. so then we have to
buy oil from other countrys that don't have are best intrest at hart.
plus the goverment makes more money from a gallon of gas than the companys that produce it.

All of these people, oil executives and congress are crooks in every sense of the word. They could care less about the people - they are white collar criminals - which is the worst kind of criminal.

Greed has taken over the country and we have elected the hoodlums of America!

Bad thing is we are paying Haliburton the same price to deliver it as we are paying here. Hmmm. Wonder who they are buying it from and at what price?

Hey Oil Company Executives - cut your salaries to $55,000 a year and live like middle class american's, drive your asses to work, sit in traffic, and then fill up your tank with your $4.00 a gallon gasoline - I bet not one of you even pays for gas!!
Senators - Oh Yes, they have stock in oil, and of the course the BIGGEST, Thief, LIAR and CHEAT and dumbest M.F. On Earth BUSH - The family has BILIONS in oil stock - why do you think Bush is sitting on his ass doing nothing about it. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Simple Solutions.

Reduce your addiction.

Demand that the US govt start a "Apollo Mission" style program that will make the US energy independent from foriegn oil.

This hearing just proved that Americans love to complain but will do nothing.

America the land of the do-nothings!

So invest in Exxon and share the profits - you won't be complaining about the gas prices when you are getting a 30% return on your money.
