Homeless adults are 300 people in Cecil county and there are over 334 homeless children in the county! Maybe the adults are to blame for their own situation, but the children are innocent! They deserve help, a lot more than some nature trails near the Susquehanna river!

I learned first hand that you should never judge another person or people. You could just as easily be in their situation and you probably have no clue how they really got there. It is bothersome and tiresome that people would rather take care of things but leave people out in the cold, heat and what not, no matter what the situation. A little compassion goes a long way and maybe if more people showed that instead of judging, people who are homeless would be encouraged to do better instead of feeling like their situation is hopeless. All trust in God from me and may he bless all who are homeless so that they not only find shelter, but shelter that is their own. A hand up is different than a handout.

I personally thank you for the insight shown. I go for food every week and see a blend of people who are down on their luck, regardless how they got there. I still can make it, but see in the near future, the lines getting longer due to down and out people which will include me (I felt I had enough,$1Mil invested until the market fell) I lost 50% and now find myself losing a boat and house. Soon to be homeless ans added to the 300.
