I hear we only have very basic cable. Limited channels . We will have to pay $50 a year for a cable box. Limit is one box. That's what I have heard.

The cable box is $50.00 to rent until you leave the campground. One time charge that is what Ashley told me.

“How we spend our days is how we spend our lives.”
Reflection: How are we spending our days, our lives?
Do we whine, whine, and whine?
Do we appreciate what we do have?”
We have blue skies, sunshine, trees and the sea,
We have opportunities to be with people we care about
To make memories for a lifetime,
We have Morgan employees that unstop those things that are
Stopped up, remedy our electrical problems and are all around
hard-working, courteous people,
We have a well maintained pool area, well maintained grounds
and a safe environment due to the skills of the management director
Who keeps things running in an orderly fashion,
We have young women in the office who greet us with a smile and
try to do the best they can for us (even though some things are not
Within their power ex:(Comcast Cable),
We have cell phones to report CC’s lack of progress,
We have free internet service,
We have wonderful entertainment for ourselves and our children,
Is Echo Farm your slice of heaven?
I know I paid much more at my last campground and did not get
the services or the respect shown to guests here.
So how are we spending our lives?
Hopefully, you are enjoying your slice of heaven.

Well did everyone get their courtesy phone call today from Morgan about the exciting offer that ends today? Get your 2011 season for the price of 2010 if you pay by today. One other thing the representative from corporate told me, next year the digital cable will be $150 in addition to the $50 one time fee for the box. If you pay it all today you get $150 off for the cable next year. Wow what a deal!

And by the way where is the free wifi that the advertisements mention?

Yep - $150.00 for cable service for next year. It was bound to happen - but $25.00 per month is not bad. I love my place in Echo Farms. Seen other Campgrounds and they are dreary. Yes, clean toilets would be nice in the bathhouse across from the Pool. The Pool could be cleaner. No one really bothers you and we have lovely neighbors. Most everyone is nice. I don't think the girls in the office have enough experience in handling the daily activities. If someone doesn't come in to do their job then they should pick up the slack. That is what they are getting paid for or maybe not. No whining just enjoy the days because before you know it it is October and we have to wait 6 months to comeback to complain. LOL

So how do people feel about the new rule to not allow outside vendors perform winterizing? Do these kids who rack leaves and clean the pool really know how to winterize all the different types of trailers?

The way I see it is, that if you "own" your trailer, you should have control of who winterizes it for you, if you can't do it yourself. Morgan should not have the right to dictate what you have done, to what you own. If you need something fixed in your trailer, you can call an outside vendor, why not winterizing. The bank doesnt tell me what kind of gas to use on the car they still hold the note on.....

Yep that's right. I got the call too. It is as you say. I wonder if we will get someone who actually knows what to do. I was told she took another job. Guess the pressure is just too much. We don't need another Amy with the bull horn.
