Further to National Hotline I am posting the District Office information as it appears that the National Hotline is not run on a 24 hour basis . Appears that after hours someone gets to play "god" and decide what is "not an imminent danger" . Suggest that any Miner reporting a hazardous condition phone both the National Hotline and the local district office .

Hazardous Condition Complaint

To report a hazardous condition at a mine including all impoundment and dust fraud inquiries/complaints, call your local MSHA office for quickest response.

Hazardous condition complaints can also be made by calling the National Hotline at 1-800-746-1554. Complaints reported after normal business hours that are not an imminent danger will be responded to the next business day.

You do not need to identify yourself!

Please include the following information in our phone conversation:

* Name of company

* Name of mine

* Location of mine (city/town)
