A revision surgery would have been totally unnecessary had DePuy managed to test its ASR Hip Replacement Sytems adequately. What compounds the situation is that even when DePuy held important data regarding its implants' failure rates, the company still sold the products for as long as five more years. If you have had a hip replacement surgery after 2003, chances are you were implanted with a DePuy device. However, you need to find out for certain if your implant is indeed one of the two hip replacements named ASR XL Acetabular System and ASR Hip Resurfacing System by asking your orthopedist or even procuring the information from the hospital where your hip procedure took place. Just like this one, people should be brave enough to file for a lawsuit if they think that a certain manufacturer has been negligent enough to cause them life threatening situations. So, just like this woman who filed for a DePuy Hip Replacement Lawsuit, people who have been severely affected of the DePuy Pinnacle should also be brave to file for a DePuy Pinnacle Lawsuit. A recall might not have happened but this is not a reason not to fight for your rights. To discover further concerning the DePuy Pinnacle Hip Replacement, visit now!

Thousand of lawsuits have followed in the wake of the high profile Depuy hip replacement recall, according to the . Several of these lawsuits have been consolidated into a multidistrict litigation (MDL) under Judge David A. Katz of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio who called for a status conference of the DePuy hip replacement lawsuit this month. Multidistrict litigation isn’t class action. In an MDL, similar cases taking place in separate districts are consolidated into one pretrial proceeding to determine the common set of facts underlying all suits.

According to court documents, nearly 20 lawsuits are filed everyday against DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. and its mother company Johnson & Johnson allegedly for its defective metal-on-metal ASR hip implant. In its third quarterly earnings report, Johnson & Johnson stated that there are approximately 3,500 pending ASR hip implant lawsuits following the DePuy hip replacement recall. I've come across this website that have so many interesting articles with regards to the DePuy ASR hip implants.
