I find it so hard to fathom that a radio show that makes the community feel respected and a part of it will no longer be our own. I think it is so sad that Marc has been laid off. This man has been so loyal and so dedicated to this entity for many years. How can it be so? I also cannot believe that we will no longer be entertained by what I call "family" when you think of the ride to work, the updated news for community events, even being Q'd in when family and others pass on, the Breakfast Flakes, Pork Chop making us laugh, and even the hot topics of the day? We need these DeeJays. What will become of them? How are they going to survive without salaries and families that depend on them for support? 92Q has been a faithful "home" of ours. I welcome Rickey Smiley, but I also will miss my 92Q morning show. IT WAS THE BEST IN THE WORLD for me. Can something be done to bring them back? Can they be given jobs in another capacity? I feel for them and their families. I hope that this was not just a drop in the bucket for them. I hope they didnt just appear at work one day and was laid off the next. I understand that the economy is really in a state of bad taste, but Marc and Sonjay loves the work that they done so well for so long!!! WE WILL PETITION SUCH A MOVE BY NOT LISTENING BETWEEN 6AM - 10AM!!! WHAT A SHOCK. WHAT WILL BALTIMORE BE WITHOUT MARC CLARKE AND THE BIG PHAT MORNING SHOW?!!!

The only reason 92Q did well was because they were the only game in town. Too bad people lost their jobs, but leave it to Cathy Hughes to run it into the ground. Give the people of Baltimore another choice. When X105.7 was on the air they were killing 92Q in the ratings each quarter, only to have CBS kill it as they change their mind and the format. It's now been changed 4 times or so in the last 6 years. I guess it's time to subscribe to XM!

Now that Obama has been elected it's time for the Qmmunity to pull those baggy pants up and remove filth like this from the airwaves.

Like newspapers, radio is having a lot of trouble keeping an audience. Between services likes XM, the instant gratification of iPod or internet free radio, all of which have fewer commericals and more music it is hard for AM and FM stations to keep up. I have not listened to "regular" radio in 5 years, as I am an iPod junkie, so I am not too upset by this, but anyone losing their job, especially when it is clear they are doing a good job, is a sad event.

I'll soften up a lil bit on my earlier stance. Marc and Sonjay offered some intelligent aspect to the show but Porkchop was simply a modern day minstrel show. What message do you send to all of the kids who listen in to the show when you give someone like that a voice. Grammatically incorrect is an understatement! When Troy and Marva left the show, the message was loud and clear that we, the audience, were not worthy of educational input. Instead, just entertain them with ignorance and buffoonery.

Yes.it is sad, but they did not stand with those two, troy and marva when they were removed from the show. They should have been looking for a new job two years ago, it's amazing how you stand with a job, call it a family and they kick you off the air with out any remorse. I really do not care because, I stop listening once it became a boring show, sorry topic, and BIGFAT come on, it more to life then calling yourself FAT. Wake-up, the only people you can depend on is SELF, and the LORD. Watch the people u center yourself with, because all snakes crawl on their stomach, and you never know which one has a belly ache, well Mark, and sanja, u got the ache, porkchop is still chopping on, and why, but why, well he who is last shall be first, Congrat, Troy, and keep your head up, marva, too, you tried to tell your co-workers but they didn't want to listen, that just tells u all that the work u do, never pays OFF, and your real family is the family GOD wants u to be with at HOME

Why did cathy have to come mess things up? Only time I really listen to 92q is when the big phat morning show was on and I also listened to 105.7 hfs for troy johnson (back room radio) and now they both off the air, I hate radio. I just hope she dont move lolo and the quiet fire on 95.9.
