Nothing like a little censorship to make sure people unsatisfied with the current state of America bottle up that anger and do something... you know, like a revolution.

That's right, make sure you ban around 80% of the American public from posting anything negative. Help them keep that anger bottled up. Make sure you silence them at every avenue. Just don't be surprised when the revolution isn't televised. While not everyone will say or think things that are agreeable, censorship against the American public is a universally bad move. Only democrats, Iranian hardliners, and 3rd world monkeys believe it's the answer to solving problems. Heck, even Saddam thought so too, that's why he won with 98% of the votes.

I heard that policy works real well in 3rd world countries though, places like Kenya especially. But then again, a 3rd world tinpot dictator and his untermensch Czars along with silenceing free speech is the American way, right comrade?

I tell you, today's media knows or cares very little about news, truth, or even free speech anymore. They know who butters their bread, don't they?

Y'know what? It would be GREAT to have a newspaper comprised of reader comments. But then such a thing exists now. It's called THE INTERNET. And topix is the best site yet for comments.

The non-stop censoring by Strib comment moderators has risen to "thought police" level, and only solidified the Strib as a hard-core left-wing propaganda outlet.

Trust me - Post criticism of libral agendas enough times, and not only will they watch and remove your posts, but your account will get revoked.

The reason they gave me when they revoked my account was that by asking liberals to back up their statements, and then knocking down their arguments point by point, I was treating liberals with (and I quote) "perjoritive generalizations".

They were actually equating the term "liberals" on the same level as minority or religious groups. And this was quoted not by a moderator, but a director of online content when I escalated the issue.

And yet, while I sat with my jaw dropped, they refused to remove posts calling President Bush and Cheney "War criminals". Incredible.
