I don't see it as an either/or scenario.
We should be taking care of ALL the above problems.
I simply want a dog park, too.
Ah. I was more concerned with the Order of Operation.

Its like the argument with the library..yes the school system needs dramatic funding. But I simply LOVE the library here too.

I care more about my dog than the overweight, inbred offspring of this town so we can shove schools to the bottom if the list.

I'm all for it! It will be nice to have some place pet friendly to go in this town. Have you noticed that besides a movie theater and skating rink there is NOTHING to do here! I'm tired of this town catering to older people. We need something for the 40 and under to do besides hang at a bar. Its time to start being progressive like other cities and not bury our heads in the sand!

This will just turn into a FFG dog doodoo site when the old farts come into town to shop. I can just hear it now. "We built that, its just like our own and we can have a place to socialize after shopping and walk Sophie or Trixy. But i cant see why these locals are allowed to come here. This intereferes with our routine. Oh my god that damn PitBull just ate my Sophie." WEll guess what then the dog park gets banned,to please the Gladers, just as everything else does. Oh well nice try.

I agree we could use the money to fix back roads that need to be fixed. But a dog park would be great=) There is good and bad in every dog not only pitbulls i have 3 of them and they love other dogs i look at it if you see aggression with your dog around other dogs dont take it somewhere like that.. I take mine to the fle market all the time and i have know problems.. So dont start running your alls mouths about something you have never owned or trained..The city does alot of stuff it dont need to they should build a new animal shelter and get rid of the other one and make a new one cause the one we have is drited and hard to clean... Before they do something like this they need to make sure our city and county is fixed first or do a voting but it is a great idea..

Well..most considerate dog owners pick up after their own pets when out and about..maybe not you..but most intelligent owners.

How about Hilltoppers, they can have this as part of their workshop experience, plus they would be able to get out and feel like normal people with a dirty job..........

Just a thought but if we had a dog park maybe more people would adopt a dog from a shelter and then have a safe place to play and entertain with the animals. Some people are just idiots! Cumberland county isn't very animal friendly and its SAD!!
