I find the alge intersting..

I need to learn more about it .

I want something easy and free... I am ok with the upfront cost.

I like cheap and easy...if I invest.

I have gave up on wind and solar for another 20 years, its not worth it.. not at all, just too much stuff and it cant handle the load.. my main gripe = IT UGLY , noisey and THEY LIE about everything, even if you know they lie and DOUBLE everything... its not worth it.

Liberals, democrats, and moderates will never have quite enough government control of their lives to be happy so federal, state and local governments will never be big enough regardless of the cost. Even though they demand and vote for endless government, they buy hybrids to avoid paying taxes that fund the big government that they long for. They buy hybrids to supposedly save money on energy while at the same time they vote for the far-left who endlessly attack energy providers as they increase the costs for they are opposed to others using energy. They complain and moan about the cost of something(gas) as they vote for liberals who want it to be so expensive that almost all simply can not afford it.

Well, it looks like all the hybrid owners will be coughing up those tax incentives/rebates they got for their "clean fuel" vehicle purchases. So actually, the federal rebate will be funneled back to Va coffers...pretty ingenious if you look at it.

And I agree ! I think diesel will see a good showing in the US

The cruise diesel should send the VOLT to the boneyard.

I have a friend who has a diesel rabbit or golf whatever they are now.

New clean diesel . Amazing little car. I love how it pulls the east side of afton effortless, its not noisy like my truck and He exceedes the MPG estimated milage all the time....

funny side note... a friend of mine hooked his old 70's 2wd truck to the little diesel Vw ... The VW yanked that truck backwards all over that field. I couldn't belive it.

If one decides to buy a hybrid car over a $100 incentive, they need to get a life.

Actually, it would be interesting to see statistics on how many miles urban hybrid drivers put on their cars versus urban gasoline-only drivers. Do they drive more miles? Does the increased gas mileage change their driving behavior at all? The mileage stats are in the Va files: just look at vehicle inspection reports by VIN number and see mileage from year to year. Would be interesting.

Anyway, you bedwetting hybrid drivers take notice: What happens to all the plastic bumper stickers on the back of your car when the car is traded in? That plastic ends up in landfills; do you think the car dealer recycles them? So, we have landfills around Central Virginia brimming with plastic "Coexist," "Obama/Biden," "Well-behaved women rarely make history," "My sheltie is smarter than your honor student," "Dumler," "Perriello," and "Tibet" bumper stickers. And that doesn't even consider the glue residue on the back of the bumper stickers...more deadly poisons killing our Mother Earth. All because of your need to trumpet your flannel-shirted, Maddow-haired, activist, angry causes. You planet killers, you!

Last time I checked, electricity taxes don't pay for roadway maintenance.

The city council now taxes property owners for rain water but they are against an $8.3333 per month tax for a vehicle that has a larger carbon footprint than regular gas vehicle.

Don't get me wrong, most of the "carbon footprint" talking points are deceptive. I just like pointing out liberal hypocrisy.

NO WAY NO HOW can I do it with the water BS.... it was my biggest hurdle because the house takes up so much of the lot....I would be living in the homeless shelter paying for water runnoff.. and I WAS going to try and fix that myslef ANYWAY , not really because I cared.. I wanted to reclaim for H@) for a very intesive lanscape design... need lots of water = win win.... years ago an egineer told me I would have trouble in ANY city with the house but I have a touch of HIPPIE in me ... LONG before these jerks did this I wanted to conatin ALL my water...

Many moons ago I observed Mayor Dave Norris on the Downtown mall and his daughter/daughters had several "Tom Perriello" bumper stickers plastered on their shirts. If this guy is opposed to plastic and seeks to outlaw the plastic bag then why is he wasting so much plastic to campaign for his fellow leftist comrade?

Charlottesville City Council is devoted to and addicted to extreme taxation whether it be on a Federal, State, or local level. Yet for some reason they oppose "The Hybrid Tax". You do not need to mention that they are all probably hybrid owners themselves.

That's funny, but I don't wear spandex and I won't pay the tax. I can ride where the road used to be.

Libaral on a bycycle is not always a bad thing.

Traffic weeds out some of the Obama voters for us.
