A concept/conclusion Eastman Kodak management should have realized many years ago... before it was too late.

Kodak situation, is no different as Agfa a few years back,a management with no foresight,or management did not want to listen what their market research was telling them.
They will end the same as the photographic side of Agfa.
Look at Fuji of Japan. they are a much broader based company, and there are making a profit.
Its a pity but Kodak will end up as Agfa.

Good point on Fuji! They are making some very interesting cameras these days. Including a new(ish) film camera!
