Media Directions which is a company which aims to reduce fraudulent motor activity and claims.
Haulage drivers are often targeted by criminals to be involved in a staged accident. They then begin the process of a false or exaggerated claim to their insurers. This is known as the "cash for crash" method .
Insurance companies are paying out unworthy claims costing 4.1 billion pounds each year and Haulage companies premiums are increasing by an average of £15,000 annually.
Our employees have experience working with fraudulent motor claims and are aware of different ways in which criminals work to stage accidents. We have used this knowledge to create a DVD to be used as training material within CPC driver training modules.
The DVD shows different ways in which drivers can be targeted and raises awareness to help drivers avoid becoming victims.
The DVD includes facts and figures about motor insurance fraud and will help your drivers to recognise the signs to avoid these accidents. It also shows the steps which should be taken if they believe they have been involved in a "cash for crash" scam.
Please let me know If you would like to see a clip of the DVD or would like any further information.
