They took our E-Z Pass because the person taking care of them could not do there job, it was told that the reason they took them was that companey driver keep taking them to the truck they were driving and all they had to do was cut they off each E-Z pass has a number on them. Know the rest of them has to suffer because this person can not do there job. This is only one reason why you need to check Landair..

I currently work for Landair and have for a couple of years. I was very impressed working for Landair, for the first week. Then I began to experience how management treats their employees and how they expect you to treat the employees. I have worked within the corporate office for a few years now and continually see drivers and the associates get treated like crap in order for the upper management to get their wallets fattened. If you don't go out and party with the children and get drunk with the in crowd you will go no where within the company. It is a disgrace to those that want to progress throughout the company. This is the worst excuse for a business that I have seen. They say one thing and do the exact opposite, so be warned. The hire less than mediocre employees in order to pay the lost amount possible for salaries, and if you are above the norm for performance and production do not expect to get promoted, because you will make the management look bad so they will black ball you from succeeding.
How can someone be working part time, yet bring in over 100K annually? Oh wait, be related to the President of the company.

If you go to Landair you will regert it when they open there mouth it's a lie for example they took our e-z pass for the tolls away. Now they are tell that they are looking to get them back this is a lie because they have been saying that for a year. It's doesn't take that long to get something done. hear is another in orientation they are saying that they don't you the freeze or burning up let see if you can do it at 20% idle time.

Worse company my husband has ever worked for. Drivers beware they do not treat you right and you end up with no paycheck! Check all the facts before you sign on!

I was about to drive for Landair too and live just outside Greeneville and heard about all the problems. A few old drivers I talked to said no miles and they treat you bad. Glad I didn't go too. See there are alot of people who have had trouble there at Landair. My brother in law drove for them and just quit too.
Look like me and you would have been in the same class I was about to go to work for them as well. Think I will hold off from that mistake.

Hmm.. by the looks of all these post, landair ain't shit.. I'm thinking about going there any way. Drivers lie, any company that is in business makes money. All trucking companies treat you like crap.. I have 4 years of experience, I'm with covenant at the moment, my wife is just starting out. At 1st the miles were good, now its like $200 pay checks. Lowest paid for team but rumor is this is the best company to work for as teams.. only way to make money here is team dedicated. I'm going to land air, I might like.. I see their trucks on the road, the drivers have smiles on there faces. They must be getting that grip.

They have a recruiter named Melody Dunn who is a real b----!!! I talked to her about a month ago about a local spotting position and she told me I didn't have enough experience. Mind you, I've got 15 years driving experience and 3 years spotting experience. So I let it go. Well this week my friend talked to her and she said they still have a position open and he wasn't interested in it, but he told her about me and she said for me to call. So like a dumbass I called her. She swore up and down that she never told me this a month ago and even said that she has never talked to me. I said that she was for sure who I talked to before and she got mad and yelled at me and then hung up the phone on me. So I called back and asked her for her supervisor's name and number and she hung up on me again. So I called their H.R. department to report it and they put me through to a voicemail of the boss. I left a message and still haven't received a call back. So in short I'd say that Landair and Melody Dunn are very unprofessional and it's no wonder they have trouble keeping drivers.

I was a drier for the company for 11/2 years and I thought it was a perfect fit for me. Suddenlly I found myself with a medical problem that I had no control over on !/2/2013 I was in the emergency room and in the next 2 months to follow the co worked with then after going through major back surgery and still having another to go through they tell me I,m no longer employed there and could not give me any info on my insurance. If you work there don't get sick you to may not have a job I know I was hoping to go back to work there that's how I felt before I got sick!!!!!!!!!!

I drove for Landair for 15 months they always treated me well I had a light stroke and they worked with me till I could get back to work. I had to leave do to some family issues but I leave Monday to go back to work for them I always averaged 2500-2800 miles a week and my manager John Flynn was an awsome person to work with I would recommend this company to my friends and family

I worked for landair an was recently drawn for a random.. failed the alcohol blow test (which can be up to 40% inaccurate compared to the BAC test) was told that i was terminated, an my response to them was, "send me for a BAC" (to prove i had not been drinking) BAC = Blood alcohol content .....they refused to let me do that test, an told me whats done is done.... by the way, the blow test showed that i had less than 1 beer....the BAC would have proved i hadn't been drinking .... also, another driver was instructed to take his tractor in for repair, an was later called on the phone (which they fired another driver for using his phone while driving).. to ask him who authorized him to have his tractor repaired!!.... then a week later that driver, while looking at his checkstub, found that they had taken out the cost of the repair out of his paycheck!!!
