Actualy they are allowed to break the law to uphold it in many many ways. One example high speed car chase.

The only way it would be illegal is if it was entrapment which is when they get a person to do something they normally wouldn't do

This is why it's crazy to meet someone on here(topix) F2F in order to buy/sell drugs. Anybody posting here or replying to a post on here could be LE. I can't believe how stupid ppl are on here with the daily illegal posts! Do these ppl want to go to prison? Notice those ppl arrested weren't charged with just possession but with TRAFFICKING which will send you to prison for a loong time. This is NO joke, Fla is HOT right now & the witch hunts have just begun.

Some advice, don't use Topix to buy/sell drugs!!! Also, if you must do something like this, have the person come to your house or try to set it up yourself. LE will insist on setting up the meeting place, will insist on you buying a large amt, & they won't(usually) go to your house as they don't know the environment and can't control the environment. I don't buy or sell but I hate seeing ppl set up. LE is also using ALOT of confedential informants so you really can't trust anyone. This advice came to me from a nice but niave couple who were approached/called daily by someone the used to know. The dude called them all the time for months and would not take no for an answer. He bothered them for over 6 months until they finally agreed to sell him some pills.
Important!-
After bothering them for months, after they finally agreed to sell him some pills- HE INSISTED THEY SELL HIM 100 pills, a large amt. HE WOULDN't COME TO THEIR PLACE, INSTEAD INSISTING THEY MEET HIM AT PUBLIX AND HE SET UP THE TIME AND DATE AND REFUSED TO GO TO THEIR HOUSE AND WOULD ONLY MEET THEM AT THE PUBLIX AND ONLY OB THE DATE & TIME THAT HE SET UP.

This ruined these ppl's lives & the sad part is they were honestly trying to go straight, they had got off pills and were going to the Methadone clinic so they could start fresh. They only agreed to do this one sell because the guy called them for months! Turned out the guy was busted months before & LE told him he could get rid of the charges IF HE SET SOMEONE ELSE UP! WATCH OUT FOR CIs.

Like I said before, I don't buy or sell drugs but I do hate seeing ppl dragged through hell and basically set up. It's one thing if someone gets busted if they're going out buying & selling daily BUT it's totally different if someone sets you up!

Moral of the story- leave the life behind, don't buy/sell & you won't have to worry. Don't fuel the prison industrial complex!!!!!!

Instead of scamming each other, everyone should take heed to this article and listen to what I wrote. What is up w/ topix lately? I remember this site before the scammers and trolls took over and it was a great site, very informative & helpful. It's truly a shame.

The root of the problem is the Craigslist website, and the fact that they allow these types of ads to be posted.

You can get your ad flagged off of services if it contains a phone number or link, or even a picture in some cases.

Yet the craigslist filter engine apparently has no problem with the words "dexedrine" or "narcotics" or "marijuana" in advertisements.

If CL blocked users and ghosted those ads, many people never would have considered trying to buy/sell drugs over the internet.

CL is the real evil here, enticing ordinary people to attempt crime because it looks safe.

This is why many CL cases have been overturned due to entrapment issues.
