i have the exact same ring.. and it is from zales . both of them are a carrot each and are 58.3% my rings are spectacular, and i have ladies complimenting on them all the time. thank you my husband, served two tours to afghanistan and didnt' want me to go anywhere, and i haven't .. <3

I believe you may be right, the Z stands for the quality of the diamond, and the P stands for the cut of the diamond (Princess cut).

I just bought my sister a pair of 14k white gold Princess cut diamond stud earrings from Gordons. It has the ZP mark next to the 14k mark.
