Hello everyone,

I was speaking with my girlfriend about, and just kidding we spoke about wedding. She said if we ever marry she wants a platinum ring. But then I thought, can we have different rings? a gold one and a platinum one? I don't think so.. but do men wear platinum rings? My Girlfriend says lots of men do but I never noticed that!
what do you think?

waiting for answers ;)

Men usually prefer wearing titanium or tungsten rings since they are durable and scratch resistant. But platinum is also almost equally durable and it is worn by most men. You may also consider rings made up of stainless steel. Have a look:

I'd personally recommend stainless steel. It's very durable, and it looks just as nice as platinum or silver, but it won't tarnish or turn your finger green over time.

For something customized and unique, take a look at EverlastingRings.com

Besides selling some rings there, they also have good information about different metals that you can use in rings.

Yes, I think Platinum ring is good; however, you also can try stainless steel ring, they are very wonderful and have top quality in metal too.

Hmm. it does not necessarily have to be a match and yes Platinum is okay. Mu husband and I don't have matching rings, I've got the family heirloom which means I can' find something similar for him today.

One thing that I have always worn is a men's signet ring. I love carrying on tradition. I think in a way it honors my ancestors simply by remembering them Its a really timeless thing.

Certainly, young men are more into metals like platinum, tungsten and titanium. Since they give wedding ring a more dashing look, men prefer donning simple bands consisting of these alloys.

In fact, present-day men have become a little more extravagant in terms of wearing jewelry and some of them even love to embellish their ring finger with a diamond or stone-studded ensemble. And yeah, it is not a compulsion to have matching rings. Just cherish and feel comfortable in whatever you put on; platinum is indeed a mineral of very high quality and finish.
