You are a very small sample, so we cannot conclusively draw that conclusion, but it is obviously a good working theory.

I would like to make a toast to all of us who drink coffee. Drink it while it's hot and fresh!

I'd point out that this study is just on the effects of caffeine. It suggests that it may help protecting the blood-brain barrier. All well and good (assuming it is verified by subsequent studies).

However, there are *many* other chemicals in coffee that just caffeine. In particular, if you drink unfiltered coffee (french press and some espressos), there are oils that can *significantly* increase your cholesterol levels. These oils get filtered out by ordinary coffee filters, so the *way* you drink coffee can also be a big influence on whether coffee is good or bad for you. This is part of the reason that studies can be so contradictory: there is more than one chemical in coffee, the type of coffee you drink can have an effect, and the origin of the coffee beans can even have an effect. Of course, the same goes for tea, hamburgers, or any other think you might be eating or drinking.
