If the software is providing such information then who else will not try to steal it.So i think it's better to explore the software openly. So that everyone could take advantage of it.

This company should be target or every scam busting effort in the country. Make sure to scan and remove every "ex- goldman sachs" person aka moles from the Govt. sector.
