1. End spousal benefits. The spouse didn't work for the State. Do allow for a lump sum to be paid to a designated beneficiary if the retiree dies prematurely.

2. Limit health insurance. These pension deals were made before medical technologies were invented to keep vegetables alive.

3. Reduce pensions after age 80. How much money do you need to feed pidgeons in the park?
