NY POST VOTES FOR ROMNEY

Phoenix, AZ

#22 Oct 25, 2012
“Can Mitt Romney really turn all this around,” The Post asks.“Yes he can.”

The New York Post has the 7th largest circulation among American newspapers.

In its editorial, The Post states:“Four frustratingly long years ago, a war-weary and economically battered America took a flier on a savior,“It didn’t work out.”

The Post say:“America needs more than hope. It needs leadership. That is why The Post today endorses the candidacy of Mitt Romney for president.”

The editorial cites the “demonstrated inability”of President Obama to cope with the economy, a “sky-high” national debt,“intractable” unemployment, an “historic expansion” of welfare programs, a “cataclysmic breakdown of U.S. leadership” in the Middle East, and an “unworkable healthcare boondoggle.”

Oh My – Iowa Publication Clearly Pushing For Voters To Support Mitt Romney

Now it’s 2012 and Iowa’s Des Moines Register is clearly making a strong point to voters regarding which candidate now has the positive vision for America’s future, and which candidate has devolved into an angry, bitter, and dare I say – WASHED UP politician.

Check out this front page contrast for yourself – and if you are a Romney voter, I bet you can’t help but smile…

Obama is an accessory during and after the fact to murder, neglagence and breaking his oath of office......Stephens should have called and instead of asking for help, tell Obama instead that they needed a fourth for a round of golf.

Really?

Were Republicans,Banks and the entire Bush administration that stupid to let one congressman and one senator bring the U.S. to financial ruin?

The absolute ignorance and inept Bush administration tried to stop them but they had too much power for the keystone cops.

These guys were brilliant, they should be running for President and V.P.

So are saying these guys are that smart or that republicans are that inept and ignorant.

Now you have the lowest form of republican, the teabaggers, who want to put these same idiots that got taken by 2 con artist.

Poor teabaggers.

From the Des Moines register:

"Which candidate could forge the compromises in Congress to achieve these goals? When the question is framed in those terms, Mitt Romney emerges the stronger candidate."

I agree.

Back to this thread's topix.

Are you kidding----many of these CEO's use every trick in the book to NOT PAY TAXES and then they complain about the deficit.

http://www.sanders.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/1...

At the top of the list are the BANKSTERS;

1) Bank of America
Made 4.4 BILLION in profits in 2010
Paid ZERO dollars in taxes
Got IRS Refund of 1.9 BILLION dollars

2) Goldman Sachs
Made 2.3 BILLION in profits in 2008
Paid ZERO dollars in taxes $278
Got IRS Refund of 278 MILLION dollars

3) JP Morgan Chase
After receiving WHOPPING Taxpayer Bailout from the Federal Reserve and the Treasury Department of $416 BILLION, "In 2011, JP Morgan Chase stashed $21.8 billion in offshore tax haven countries to avoid paying income taxes.

Number 4 on the list deserves some special consideration because the corporation is NOT a bank or financial institution AND the CEO of the Company just happens to be Obama's JOB CZAR.

http://www.sanders.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/1...

4. General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt

In 2010, GE earned over 5 BILLION Dollars
Federal income taxes paid?? Zero.
IRS Tax Refund 3.3 BILLION

Taxpayer Bailout from the Federal Reserve?$16 BILLION DOLLARS... at a time when Jeffrey Immelt was a director of the New York Federal Reserve.

Jobs Shipped Overseas? At least 25,000

"Since 2001, General Electric has closed more than 30 manufacturing plants in the United States, cut 34,000 American jobs, and added 25,000 jobs overseas. General Electric now has more workers abroad than it does in the United States."

On December 6, 2002, Jeffrey Immelt, the CEO of General Electric, said at an investor's meeting:``When I am talking to GE managers, I talk China, China, China, China, China. You need to be there. You need to change the way people talk about it and how they get there. I am a nut on China. Outsourcing from China is going to grow to $5 billion. We are building a tech center in China. Every discussion today has to center on China. The cost basis is extremely attractive. You can take an 18 cubic foot refrigerator, make it in China, land it in the United States, and land it for less than we can make an 18 cubic foot refrigerator today, ourselves.'' Jeffrey Immelt, Chairman, CEO of General Electric, quoted at an investor meeting on December 6, 2002.

And this is OBAMA's JOB CZAR!!

Mediamatters czar, Soros, while telling us the prez has the economy wired, is dumping his holdings. Mama Soros may have raised a creep, but not a fool. He's getting out before the crash. BTW, he's taking Buffett and other gazillionaires with him.

They have no faith in the prez and his policies. Mediamatters champions the economy, while its boss, Soros protects his money. Is George hoping to bankrupt the US like he tried in the UK?

Look at reality, folks. Soros has played you like a fiddle.

No, America saw a dumbass flip-flopping "wannabe" Teabagger that was America to return to the same failed policies that got us into this mess.

After filing the suit against Citibank in 1994, Obama had a new opportunity come his way in 1995.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_Annenber...

The Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC) was a Chicago public school reform project from 1995 to 2001 that worked with half of Chicago's public schools and was funded by a $49.2 million, 2-to-1 matching challenge grant over five years from the Annenberg Foundation. The grant was contingent on being matched by $49.2 million in private donations and $49.2 million in public money

The three co-authors of Chicago's winning Annenberg Challenge $49.2 million grant proposal were:
William Ayers, Anne Hallett and Warren Chapman,

The founding Board of Directors of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge as announced in 1995 were:[38][39]
Patricia Albjerg Graham
Barack Obama
Stanley O. Ikenberry
Arnold R. Weber
Raymond G. Romero
Wanda White
Susan M. Crown,
Handy L. Lindsey, Jr.

Barack Obama, elected by the Board of Directors as founding chairman and president of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (1995–1999), resigned as chairman and president in September 1999 to run as a candidate in the 2000 Democratic primary for the 1st Congressional District of Illinois.

An August 2003 final technical report of the Chicago Annenberg Research Project by the Consortium on Chicago School Research said that while "student achievement improved across Annenberg Challenge schools as it did across the Chicago Public School system as a whole, results suggest that among the schools it supported, the Challenge had little impact on school improvement and student outcomes, with no statistically significant differences between Annenberg and non-Annenberg schools in rates of achievement gain, classroom behavior, student self-efficacy, and social competence.
----------
So then, almost 150 Million Dollars going to a special project to help the Chicago Public School System---the result, well the money was spent but there was "no statistically significant difference" in any catagory.

Another failure for our media-elected President.

Florida: Another Major Newspaper Abandons Obama, Polls Show Romney Up

Posted on October 28, 2012

Last weekend, it was the Orlando Sentinel reversing its 2008 course by endorsing Mitt Romney for president. Now the South Florida Sun-Sentinel is turning heads by following suit:

"Many are holding on by their fingernails, desperate for signs of an economic recovery that will help them provide for themselves, their employees, their customers and their communities. When President Obama came into office in 2009, the economy was in freefall and though untested, he inspired us with his promise of hope and change. Now, four years later, we have little reason to believe he can turn things around. So while we endorsed Obama in 2008, we recommend voters choose Republican Mitt Romney on Nov. 6."

New Poll A From Left-Leaning Firm Is Pretty Brutal For Obama
Brett LoGiurato | Oct. 28, 2012

Mitt Romney leads President Barack Obama by a single point in today's Public Policy Polling daily tracking survey, but the numbers inside the poll display a clearly worse picture for the president.

Romney's one-point lead is a slight increase from Saturday, when the candidates were tied. But a deep dive into the numbers paint the picture of a president whose approval is on the decline and is struggling to pick up votes with Independents.

Consider the following numbers:

Obama's approval-to-disapproval rating sits at just 44-52, which is actually worse than Gallup's tracking on Saturday.
Obama is losing the favorability battle, which has been a key strength for him throughout the campaign. His favorable-to-unfavorable rating sits underwater at 46-50.

Romney's favorable rating, on the other hand, is a positive 49-45.

Romney leads the self-identified Independent vote by an astounding 16 points. Among this crucial group, Obama's approval-to-disapproval is 33-60, and Romney's favorability is 53-37.

These numbers are not a drastic one-day change from Saturday — Obama has been losing Independents by double digits for the past five days of PPP tracking, and his approval with them has been well underwater, too.
