Teen with BB gun arrested for trying to rob woman

And the Wild Wild West mentality continues unabated. Maybe we will all have to arm ourselves and start blowing away teenagers.

These are punks (probably, due to proximity) from Lairdland. This is the residential area directly behind East Akron Cemetery, not uncoincidentally right near Goodyear. I won't even drive in there after dark. It's full of guns and drugs and bad people.

One thing I've noticed about living in the hood: it's never the adults in the area you need to fear. It's their kids. There are a lot of punks roaming around in my hood, and from what I read and hear and see, this is common all over the city.

Point being, it's those punks with nothing better to do and no adult supervision who are causing a lot of the robbery problems we are having.

The older ones are just the grown punks. They've always been this way, so why should they change? And THEY don't use BB guns.

But those are proximate causes. The ultimate cause is structural violence, i.e. built - in violence, due to the unequal nature of our class society. As long as there is an oppressed underclass, they will violent.

I was at Summit mall around the holidays when a woman was car jacked in broad daylight, I could'nt believe it, since then any time I travel around the Akron area I keep a loaded 9mm on the seat next to me, if anyone comes up looking to rob me you better be ready to shoot or die.

No, you need to shut your mouth and raise your children not to rob people!! This is everyone's business who are forced to live in this city and may become victim's themselves!
