I believe that the obvious, most effective way to reduce claims is through prevention. Incentive programs such as discounted memberships at health clubs are a great start. Also personal/wellness courses, training classes etc. could be included. Healthy, supportive actions are contagious and can lead to a much healthier environment.

Another positive step could be to bring healthy snacks for the employees to share. It sets precedence and the employee tends to appreciate the gesture.
