My company is a Georgia employer. Our state has no specific state FLSA law outside the federal FLSA. We are interested to learn if there is a statute requiring that we pay overtime incurred in the same pay period in which it was incurred. Or do we have leeway to hold overtime pay to once per month or once per quarter? Anyone have any input? I have searched the statutes and find no specific requirement on when the incurred OT pay must be given to the employee who worked the OT.

Found the answer on another site. The wage and hour act does mention when incurred OT must be released as paid to employee.
