Track Behaviors and Habits of Specific Employees Across Multiple Workstations with Stealth Network Keylogger Software

12/02/10 - Looking for a way to track specific employees' computer usage habits across multiple workstations on your business network? Online employee monitoring resource NetworkKeylogger.com is now featuring NetVizor - a stealth network keylogger monitoring program that lets you monitor every workstation on your entire network, down to following specific employees as they move from workstation to workstation.( http://www.networkkeylogger.com )

"NetVizor is the most effective network keylogger solution available on the market," said a spokesperson for the site. "The program gives network supervisors the ability to see everything anyone does across your entire network - from opening and closing files, to recording keystrokes, to monitoring internet usage, capturing screenshots, and even remotely viewing live workstation activity in real time on any machine you specify. The program can even remotely block usage of specific applications and programs or access to specific websites across your entire network as you see fit, and much more. With centralized real-time monitoring, deployment, and administration features, it's truly a full featured, effective employee monitoring software solution."

In addition to NetVizor employee monitoring software, the site also features Mobile Spy - a stealth program for cell phones to secretly monitor text message activity and GPS locations of employees with company issued cell phones.

I think keylogger software is too intrusive in most cases as a method of employee monitoring. Better to use more gentle approaches that monitor the person's Internet use, and maybe screenshots such as http://www.timedoctor.com

I am currently taking an HR class and this thread caught my attention.

Monitoring employees this closely may draw criticism....privacy, trust and moral issues come to mind.

Employees may feel resentful when told they will be closely monitored.

However, there are many good reasons to look into monitoring employees such as the ability to stop unproductive behavior.

In regards to tinier's post, "To monitor your employees' network, you can install employee monitoring software on their computer, but remember you should tell them first." I was not aware that employers had to inform their employees of that. At one of my previous employers, I could always tell when a screenshot was being taken, but not having been told of the monitoring policy, I was not sure.

I think a responsible employee should only use work resources for work. People should not be going online for personal reasons throughout the day, that is what breaks are for.

For employee time management and tracking needs, I had been using Replicon's project time management software as it is pretty hassle free app, being easily accessed from anywhere.
