Isle of Wight real estate assessments up 5 percent

Residential real estate assessments are up an average of 5.3 percent, according to figures released by Isle of Wight County today.

5% MY A**, how about 93.3% for bare farm land that can not be re-zoned

Well, now I don't feel so bad....I was bent out of shape when mine went up 21.1% this year. 20% at the last assessment......guess the REAL market values haven't been noticed in IOW?
