American citizens should celebrate that timid Governors, Mayors and upper echelons of those bureaucrats, who miserably genuflect to the wealthy corporate machine. Even pro-illegal immigration groups like the US Chamber of Commerce, is just another special interest group, that dances to the tune of the pro-illegal immigration lobby.

Carrollton, Tx can join with Hazleton Mayor in Pennsylvania who have vigorously fought a successful battle against globalist powers to push our Washington politicians to bring even more guest workers across our border. Now that American taxpayers have finally open their eyes, to the massive amounts of money skimmed from Taxpayers wage packets to support the cheap labor for pariah businesses.

Alas, the illegal immigration plague is all about money. Not about the care and welfare of citizens or legal residents. But employers cultivating their rich lifestyles. All those patriotic politicians are very few, so anybody who stands strong for American peoples rights must have courage. Because their are those who would drag them down. New fresh-faced Democrats do not even agree with party hardliners, when it come to the illegal immigration issue. But even for these young, party members who are fighting an uphill battle against Democratic potentates like madam Nancy Pelosi. She is already trying to dump the border fence, as she is in gutting the Federal SAVE ACT (H.R.4088)

Every state has a right according to the 'Supremacy Clause' This was codified in a 2005, 9 – 0 landmark decision, by the U.S. Supreme Court in Muehler vs. Mena, to enact their own immigration laws. Although pro-illegal immigrant groups say it's a federal responsibility.

Hopefully, the Lewisville Mayor and City Council will take notice and do something similar. Otherwise they will all end up here.

Texas should follow Oklahoma's lead and adopt the "Same" Illegal alien laws. Clean House.
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country.*Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

The whole state of Texas needs to pass some propositions to cut off jobs and bennies to illegals, otherwise your going to be playing Wack-A-Mole on a very grand scale!

If you have been hiring an ILLEGAL ALIEN to clean your toilet YOU are part of the problem.

How many toilets do you have?

Hire a citizen or legal immigrant.

I applaud the people electing this mayor. It is about time we stand up and take control of this situation. It makes me sick to see these people holding marches and rallys, protesting this country trying to enforce our own laws. When did they decide they were above the law?? They are a drain on the police, hospital's, and schools. They make millions of dollars, pay no taxes and then send much of that money back to Mexico. I am tired of pressing one for English. We speak English here, learn it, or leave. We don't owe you.

They just have to make sure they do it so within federal law and prove they are targeting all illegals. This way it cannot be made a racist thing... Illegal is illegal...

My worry is the jerks supporting illegals who will sue at the drop of a hat if they feel an "rights" are being violated or denied.

Send the mayor up here and he can talk with my gov't about how they are doing it and avoiding liberal lawsuits.

They are. There's talk of doing away with that Day Laborer center, or whatever it is called.

We can't. At least not now. The Hispanic influence on our politics is too great.

Mayor-elect Branson is being smart. He is going forward with the 287g program and I think he will start a program similiar to the CAP program that Irving has, while waiting to see how the courts rule on the Farmers Branch ordinances.

If this is the new mayors main focus, he really should try to focus on more important things like road construction... his mayoral bid will be up soon enough, he may as well do something to help the residents of carrollton, not cause conflict among its residents.
