You must be kidding. You mean to tell me that Ancho Hocking did not do a cost analasys, or production projections before making a purchase of this size?
The only logical explenation would be that this plant was purchased just to close it and right off the entire purchase as a loss. This means all that money goes back in their pockets with no taxes paid on it.
Why else would someone make this size of purchase only to turn around and decide to close it entirely.
When will someone look out for the working men and women of this country?

typical example of corporate greed. face it folks, the days of 30 yrs with a company and then getting the party, gold watch and pension are long gone. the typical american worker needs to learn to be as cutthroat and opportunistic as the corporate sleaze bags their forced to work for.

Should have seen it coming. A lot of strange things was going on. But everyone that I know said dont worry about it, nothing will happen. Eight years here and look what happens. So to who ever sees this watch for signs.

i work for anchor, and the rumor was they were going to close either us (the Monaca plant ) or Sapulpa. I really thought it would be us, one reason being we are union, is the Sapulpa plant union ? Also, taxes in Pa are out of control.

Yes, I do believe that the sapulpa plant is a Union.
