Mama, did not say i was "going to" inflict ill will on Creepo. I said what I said out of anger towards his attitude. I would not have literally kicked his ass. I would have done it through performance management. I would have first tried to get him on a major safety or customer service violation. If he truly ignores or gives the customer false information, I would have fired him based on that. Remember failing to provide customer service is now a minor and major work rule violation. Trust me I bleed orange all the way from night crew associate to store manager. I bought into the whole thing until I saw the writing on the wall. Went to the store manager forum in the big "D" last year, met scarecrow and felt the love. Do not blame me, Creepo and his attitude is of one who is only there to collect a paycheck...just like the majority of associates.

All I can say about Home Depot is this. I worked there for two years under some of the worst management I've ever seen. I resigned a week ago and have been so relaxed and happy that I can't believe I didn't do it sooner. Life is great now that I have a "real" career and don't have to wear orange any longer. It was never the customers that made the job difficult. It was the managers that were incompetent on so many levels.

Good for you reno, I have done the same and have never felt happier. Depot will "SUCK THE LIFE" out of you if you let them. The poor management starts at the top. I gave these morons 5 1/2 years of loyalty only to watch manager after manager screw up the whole program. I now work for a retailer that does it right (no not Lowe's) as a matter of fact, the CEO of our company once worked for Depot until he saw the writing on the wall and bailed. This company truly knows the meaning of customer service!!! OSH

I started at the Brentwood store which is the district store. What a joke that was. Then I transferred to Sunset Hills and was there for the remainder of my time with the "company". I was unimpressed to say the least.
