Home Depot profit up 14%, suggesting share gain
Home Depot Inc., the world's largest home-improvement retailer, said Tuesday that its fiscal-second-quarter profit rose a better-than-expected 14%, helped by its moves to improve customer service and tailor merchandise to meet consumers needs in a still troubled housing market.

no, because a few years ago HD closed down 10 stores. otherwise, who cares?
