Thank you. The last thing any one of us needs is an intolerant, hysterical bigot putting his/her spin on the retail world. I cannot get past the sin of greed, much less worry about some perceived homosexual agenda. Clean your own house first. The proverbial plank in one's eye comes to mind.

IF Blue Collar American were paid a fair wage, they could AFFORD to educate their children! The average student is getting out of school with &140.000 they owe in student loans. How many jobs paying $8-$12 a hr do they have to work?

The reason employees appear not to know much is because of the lack of training. How many hours does one sit in the TR taking tests? How much of that material do you remember if you don't use it? Customers think that just because you have on a red vest you are knowledgeable in all depts. That is not only not true but also ludicrous. How can everyone be an expert in plumbing and electrical? You get what you pay for-if you pay low wages you attract people who may be good people but don't have the skills to adequately sell. If lowes wants employees to be knowledgeable they need to change their training process.

The most common complaint is that employees are not knowledgeable---and the issue is management controllable. They have created the training process.

There are many talented people who have great skills from previous work history but unfortunately it is not being tapped because they are a lowly floor employee-what could they possibly know? Maybe more than their management (with the exception of all of Lowes paperwork, processes etc.-which anybody should be able to learn.)
