Victory in the sense that the anti gay fundraising appeals based on Home Depot's non homophobia extracted all the moolah that they could.

They'll come up with NEW windmills to tilt at for extorting money out of their sheep stupid followers soon enough.

I love it on the heels of the Gay marriage proposal video that is blasting over the internet now that took place IN Home Depot. Too ironic!

Homo Depot, indeed. I don't care what the AFA does or says. My own personal avoidance of Homo Depot will continue as it started even before I heard about their boycott. There are other choices for buying home repair products. Why put my money behind that business that does such immoral things?

Would you please post a link to the video? I can't seem to find a video link on the article I've read.
Thanks!

Then you now officially rank as the biggest hypocrite on Topix. ALL of the computer companies are INCREDIBLY gay friendly. In fact, the guy who runs Google is gay. Steve Jobs' replacement is gay, all the companies support gay partners and give full medical, they support gay causes and pride and so on, far more than Home Depot or Lowe's or any business like that, on line is a fun video of a gay man proposing to his future husband at Google headquarters in London and the whole office is cheering and crying and smiling. So, we better NOT hear of you EVER using Google again. If you have an Apple computer, you better toss it. Or any other brand. So, toss it today, big talker.

If you truly hate gays so much, then WHY are you touching a gay friendly computer? Each stroke of the keys is like you touching gay penis.

Oh, right, it is CONVENIENT for you to use your computer. Hypocrisy beyond compare.

I'm not real computer savy about posting links, but just type in "gay proposal Home Depot" and 20 versions of it pop up immediately.

Prepare to get weepy.

Yes, but you're sexually sick, defaming filth, you bigot.

And there's about one or two companies in the Fortune 500 left now that evilgelical snot noses can shop at "morally."

Start harvesting bark for clothing and food now, you trash. That's all you're getting with your "moral" stance.

Thanks, that was good. It made my eyes well up.
I use to live in SLC back in the eighties. I never had a problem there, I don't know why everyone gives it a bad name. The evangelical Christians are 100X worse than Mormons.

They can say what they will about Mormons. As a rule, they are usually AMAZINGLY good looking, both men and women, and most times not just attractive, but usually HOT. Look at Romney. He was a terrible choice for candidate, but he is still an amazingly handsome older man. Also, once a Mormon guy comes to terms and realizes he is gay, they go crazy wild and are REALLY fun. Ahem. I wonder if any of Romney's Stepford sons will turn out gay? With six boys, ONE of them has to be of the gay fold!

Romney and his sons are the definition of unattractive in every way, including physically. Ann is the best looking and most interesting one of that lot.(By the way, it's obvious which son pings the baptjism by proxy gaydar.)

They may not be as overt as the talibangelicals, but I believe their patriarchy and cult like qualities and homophobia are more insidious for wearing a more human face.

Of course I'm sure they're a version of polite to (white, educated) people who wind up living in Mormon dominated communities. At least face to face as neighbors. While they try to take your rights away....

Plenty of places. Look for any business open on Sunday.

Exodus 35:2

Six days work shall be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on it shall be put to death.

Really? Try walking into any International House of Pancakes on Sunday after church hours and the place will be FULL of gussied up Christians, some still carrying bibles, all making the poor waitress damn her soul to eternal hellfire, for working on the sabbath, to fill their big bellies with pancakes and sausage. I guess you guys have NO problem with that.

BTW, when I was much younger, I was a waiter, and I hated working Sundays for we got a lot of churchies. All in cheap finery and on fire of the lord. They often carried their bibles into our restaurant, as a way to show off, and would be bossy and HORRIBLE tippers. This was almost 30 years ago and I STILL recall one horrid couple who ran me ragged and as a "tip" they left me an annoying little religious tract on the tip tray. That was it, EXACT change and the tract. I threw it right into the garbage.

In California they charge 8% the wait person of every check in taxes, tip or no tip, so I ended up paying 8% out of my own pocket for those two tools' tight wadness. I should have torn off 8% of that stupid tact and turned that into the Franchise Tax board of California.

I hope not everyone working on Sunday should be put to death. Where would I get my lottery ticket?

Anyway, there are so many Christians everywhere, even on Sunday. They're like roaches!
