Trial over metal hip replacements begins in LA
A California jury heard opening statements Friday in a lawsuit that accuses Johnson & Johnson of knowingly marketing a faulty hip implant that lawyers say left thousands of people with crippling problems or in need of replacement surgeries.

This is truly a very promising development. While it has been known that obesity adds to the risk, it is simply hard for some to lower their weights. With these new innovations, hope can be given to those sufferers who have extra weights to carry.

There have been many afflicted with the complications arising from metal-on-metal hip implants. Complaints include inflammation, pain, loosening of hip implants, and metallosis. As I've read this source, http://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/13/02/p... , I was dumbfounded to know how these people's lives were greatly altered for the worst because of the complications that may have been caused by hip implants. I can only hope that they get compensated for the pain and suffering they had to go through.

that we are in. How could it be possible that these things got to damage people's lives with some people reportedly being sent to wither in pain.
There should be a deeper reason why thes things are happening and perhaps we need to do some systemic changes.
