I was shock to hear that Elliot Joseph will be replace by John Meehan. Don't be fooled!
Elliot Joseph recently assumed duties as senior executive with St. Louis-based Ascension Health, the nation's largest Catholic and nonprofit health system with hospitals and other health care facilities in 20 states. This took place on January 1, 2008.
Please read FYI:
Doesn't this raise any questions??? Is Elliot Joseph interested in fixing the mess created at Hartford Hospital or is he being replaced for personal gain???

The Hartford Hostital System is an out of control nightmare. I want to know if and how much state funding this institution gets. And if it does, it should be held accountable.

If I am not mistaken I think Hartford Hospital Patient's Relation Department gets a portion of funding.
I am looking into it and see what can be done to have those funds allocated to another agency that might use the funds correctly.
Their is still dirty laundry that needs to get clean. There is an Italian say : "The fish rots from head down." I think the hospital will get its act together once John Meehan and his top cronies leave Hartford Hospital once and for all.
And by the way there outpatient clinic at the Brownstone Building is merely a Zoo. SHAME ON YOU HARTFORD HOSPITAL!!!

The hospital should be run by Doctors, not by "bussiness". It this critical to know the Health Subject. We know already about the Detroit Hospital run in present time by ex prosecutor of Detroit. The hospital is in trouble already again.
Let the hospitals to be run by doctors with help of proffessional financial advisory board or person.
How GM car company is run by ex basketball player and ex Marine soldier. Why? They know nothing about the cars.

You people are a disgrace. John Meehan has dedicated his life to Hartford Hospital and the Hartford community. I am sure that none of you can say the same.

Hartford Hospital is guilty of Medicare fraud and that place is nothing but a death trap. Almost every patient that goes into Hartford Hospital dies. Do NOT go to Hartford Hospital for any reason EVER. Go to St. Francis or New Britain General instead.

I have been to Hartford Hospital numerous times and have had very few probelms. in my last stay i did have a problem with pain medication, and the fact that b/c i have CD and ulcertive colits. many of the dr.s there are highly skilled and are completey capable of doing a better job then they have been doing.
ON the other had the Brownstone Clinic is an ABSOLUTE MESS!!!! i go there b/c my reg. dr. cant write me an Rx for my humira and i have stopped going there and let my treatment go b/c i go there for a 2.30pm appt and i dont get seen till 4.30 and then the drs. are constantly running out to see OTHER PATIENTS!!!!
and they have the nervers to tell me " THAT WE HAVE TO DOUBLE BOOK TO SEE ALL OF THE PATIENTS ON THAT DAY" Well wouldnt it make sense to schedule them for another day and not have a 1million:1 patient dr. ratio lol
