More profit doesn't mean better care. It means the hospitals have no incentive to get a sick person well, their only incentive is to disable the insured person to keep them in the hospital while milking the insurance company.
They often do so by paying low wages and hiring the minimimum required nurses.

What a shocker, a government run hospital losing money and private hospitals making money.
Nothing new here.

What hospital wants a patient in good health?
Maybe if the government paid hospitals wouldn't have to accept illegal aliens for their free healthcare (EMTALA), they would actually make a profit?
Maybe then the insurance prices wouldn't keep going up?
California alone spends $10.5 billion per year on illegal aliens, hospital care, public schools and encarceration.
Hmmmmmmm, I wonder if the California taxpayers like that idea?
I wonder where the hospitals get their money to at least break even on the illegal alien
I wonder where Texas gets the money to pay for 60,000 illegal anchor babies every year?
Maybe your insurance???????
But we don't want to talk about that do we????
