Respect for other people is the problem here. Thomas doesn't respect women and unfortunately that is the problem. I really don't know why you think that being raped is no big deal and that women should just go on with life as if nothing has changed. Everything changes when you are raped. The way you feel about yourself and others will never be the same and that is not something that any woman, man, or child deserves. It takes away who you are. You no longer trust anyone and that is the worst feeling in the world. You may think that Thomas is the greatest guy in the world but he has hurt so many and it is time to pay the price. I don't judge you for your opinion of Thomas but please at least try to put yourself in the place of those he has hurt and understand that this is just a place to get out some of the pain that has been felt by many for years. I for one can't wait for the trial. If Thomas is convicted then just remember that 12 people who don't know this man have made a decision based strictly on the evidence and not on their emotions so maybe then you will open your eyes and see what so many others have seen, experienced and known through personal experience. People that can be easily manipulated like you have been Thomas's victims for years and maybe someday you will experience first hand what women from all walks of life have already experienced at the hands of Mr. Thomas Pollacci.

If you grew up on the Monterey Peninsula and where out and about in the 80's and 90's believe me you knew of Tommy Pollacci. He and some of his friends where almost proud of their 'quests'. If you really knew what they where up to you tried to stay out of their way. But they could be relentless. They tried charming and when that didn't work, well you can hear what they did. I have actually educated my daughter to walk around the liquor store and not to engage in conversation with him.

I feel for all of you who were approached and mollested by Tom Pollacci. I knew of him from HS. I think it was about 10 years ago...I lived in Santa Cruz and came up to PG for the day. Went into the liquor store and he approached me very wierdly. Said he knew me in HS, used to put me in headlocks...he acted like he was my best friend, but wouldn't give me his name. He was playing this wierd game with me. I never had any more encounter with him, but I thought it was very unusual how he approached me. I finally figured out who he was. Never really knew him in HS....and never any headlocks. I guess this was a pick-up line???

I don't live in Calif anymore. I'm just wondering what happened in the trail? Was he convicted of all these crimes??? Please..... someone post the results.

I hope all vicims come forth to finally keep this serial rapist off the streets. For you people who can't believe Tom would do such a thing... I guess you are in denial. Would you trust him to date your little sister?? No I did not think so. Yes he is capable of doing this because most serial rapists who dont get caught (REPEAT) and the rapes become more violent. Lucky that he did not kill his victim this time. And look at all the victims speaking out now. Its not a Tom roast.... All these women would not make such a horrific thing up. They were scared and embarrased. They are doing the right thing now. They are angry because there is no punishment for his actions. I hope all the women who are speaking out of being raped by Tom will follow through and report their attack to the District Attorneys Office before his trial. You can't remain silent anymore. For your own peace of mind to rest assure that he gets the punishment for his repeated crimes against you and others. He needs to be stopped at once. It was a very horrible experience to have gone through. People understand how scared and humiliated you all must have felt. Now that time has passed its time to get angry at what he did. He knew what he did was wrong with no punishment You owe it to yourself to get angry and want justice. You will feel better about yourself in knowing that you spoke up and prevented him from doing this ever again. Do not remain silent any longer. Hey nobama, I have known Tom for years and for years he has been a creep towards young women who walk in his store. He is sacastic, spoiled by daddy, most men of his age would be married with children. Not acting like a player in the teen years. Personally I think he needs a psychological evaluation to see why he acts that way towards women. I bet he is totally capable of being aggressive towards the opposite sex. He has a very lengthy history with repeated offenses. So say nice things out of pity for Tom. But remember, he is old enough to know right from wrong. He just never had to be punished for his offenses. His daddy always paid his way out of it. Maybe daddy will get sick of wasting his money this time.

Sheila, lots of us have know Tom for many years. He is an extremely disturbed person who preys on women. The only reason he's made it this far is because of his father's business. I think that Ron should be ashamed of himself for protecting his son this long; the Pollacci family is very much to blame for Tom's actions.

I grew up in Pacific Grove and we all knew about Tom and his predatory nature. We escorted our girlfriends into the shop if he was working. He scared and assaulted a girlfriend of mine when I was young. It's about time this scum bag was removed from our community. I hope he spends many, many years behind bars and that his father (at the very least) loses a lot of money to attorney's fees that he will most likely be paying for his pathetic progeny.

Yes, it was postponed until 2/1/10. Which gives him 2 more months to roam about free. I really can't understand what ythey are thinking they have no idea how dangerous this man is.

I am sorry for all victims including myself. I am one that was victimized 2 years ago Dec.22 2007 . Although my story might have a twist I did not come forward and I have learned to forgive him. He like many others with rhe same M.O. I believe are not all there chemically in the brain department. So us women who were victimized had known this before hand would not have put ourselves of course in that situation. It has made me personally cautious of all men. Who really knows abpout an individual. I encourage women to really know your date or partner before you go home with them. Those of you who are not healed what personally has helped me is going to church support groups and only being with non-toxic people in my life. I also believe that people who do bad things to people in life will gets theirs back one way or another.

Bless you....wondering! It's a sad thing that you have to live your life the way you do regarding men. Most of them are not like this, just a few. I agree with you that church support groups are the best. and you are right again.... We all choose to live our lives the way we do. Some things happen that we have no control of. Hopefully we can recover, learn and deal with it in the right way. And..... he will have his judgement day and not only by our judical system. I also feel that the good and bad that we put out in our lives will come back to us 2 fold.
