Regarding my comments above, you can find out details at www.sharongralak.com . There you will also find photos of her before her surgery up to her funeral. I didn't recognize my own Mother at her funeral and even went so far as to inquire whether it was really my mother's body that we were burying. She suffered a very painful death.
Sherry,
My mother had the same thing happen to her in 2006 and Anderson Hospital in Maryville Illinois! They didn't bother to turn her or anything and she ended up with a bed sore close to her spine that became infected. She passed away at the age of 48! I was 9 months pregnant with my fourth child ( her only grandson ) and on oxygenand bed rest. I have friends who are nurses and they love their jobs and are good at them but others need to rethink their profession! My mothers nurses never turned her, and I was the one changing her bed pad all the time. The nurses let my mother lay in her own fecieses for well over 45 minutes at a time. She should have been on special precaution because she had been having seizures before this all happened. She had a seziure during her meal while ALONE and assperated into her lungs. She coded and had been without air to long. She laid in a coma for 2 weeks and woke up acting completely different than normal. She didn't know her own granddaughters names! She didn't remember I was pregnant and forgot who my husband was. Now the o ly family I have are my four children.

I wanted to read all the things people had to say about Dr. Yazdi because he just did a dorsal column stimulator on me 3 weeks ago. So far I'm doing ok but still a lot of pain in my neck and unable to hold my head up for long periods of time on my own. All symptoms are normal for
this type of surgery. I just wanted to say I'm sorry for tge ones who were not so lucky to have a good experience with Doctor Yazdi. I understand anger completely!!! Please keep in mind that we as patients have the ability to either take a chance and go through with surgery or not to. We have the ability to look up all the bad things that can go wrong yet choose to trust total strangers with OUR LIFE!! I hate how it is allowed for us to sue at the drop of a hat. We need to research more and sue less. Sometimes bad things just happen to good people with no explanation as to why.

No I didn't sue the hospital because it would have done no good. I still will never have my mom back and because of her death I lost my grandmothe, then my dad and 4 days later his mom. Life just sucks sometimes!!! No I'm not rich, in fact i live off of $900 a month with 4 children and no child support. I just feel that this whole world has become overindulged in money and forgot that doctors are just people just like the rest of us. No it is no excuse for the damages many of you say he has caused but remember you took that risk.
