wow, i find it soo strange that all of you people have had such bad expierences becuase i have been going to regis hair salon sinse i was until i was old enoigh to get my hair done and i am now 13, every time i have gone there i have been very satisfied

i just moved to south edmonton and would like to know where i can find a hairdresser that understands when you say ... example lisa rinna |(short layered hairdo)... and i have the hair to do this to ... and walk out looking like joan jett!!! horrible hat wearer!!!

I just started Smart Style and I think it is owned by Regis. I was an honor grad but still we make minimum wage plus very very little tips. I am not surprised and do actually believe what I heard. I would research franchise personnel and get in touch with them about the situation. It sounds like to me that either you had something like a box color or henna on your hair and the stylist failed to do a good consultation. The other thing could be she used a 10 vol devel instead of a 20 - 40 vol which would have raised the cuticle faster and higher for the lighter blond you were looking for. If your hair was blond to start with, there is no reason why you could not have gone lighter to start with without the orange. If your hair was blond to start with and you wanted to go lighter, the remark about you can not put color on color would not apply. That only applies when you are going from brown to blond. That is why you would have to use a developer to light the cuticle. You can not just put blond color on top of brown hair and expect it to lighten without the developer to lift the cuticle. Your hair had to be a lot darker than just blond to get orange. Did you actually have red hair to start with?

Actually, you came in with LONG hair wanting layers about an inch long, so please explain to me (since your so professional) how you do that without walking out with a mullet? Oh and as i recall when you left you were VERY happy with your hair . So how about next time instead of posting crap on the web you actually tell the hairdresser how you feel so she can do something about it !

Ive been to Regis Salon in South Edmonton Common.
I got my hair done and love it.
There is a complete new staff and there eager to please and improve the salon reputation.
Im rockin out a great do and on top of it ihop isnt far, breakfast and a haircut right . haha but yea no give these girls a chance it was a good experience and im looking forward to going back.

I was at Regis Salon South Edmonton Common this past week! The experience was good, salon is very clean and the girls were happy and offered alot of information about my hair and products. I use a product they don't carry and she was even nice enough to look it up for me and find a salon i could buy it from. I appreciated this effort, she also offered me a few alternative products if i couldnt aquire what i was looking for.

I will be going back for the cheery atmosphere and perky stylists.

These Scissors are NOT made in Japan, they are owned by Komar Cosmetics in Quanqzhad, China. We understand there is another Scissor company seeking fraud charges against this company for stating their shears are made in Japan, Avoid Tsubama Scissors.
