Dude u get 50% that's standard. How the he'll can someone live on 40% do the math retard! I would never work for you I can see u getting greedy. Just cause u buy all supplies in your barber shop, which again it's your barber shop your duty to provide the essiental to run a shop. Keep your barbers happy our you'll go out of business soon. When u dint teat your barbers right they start stealing from you and your place will go down. So moral of story is 50% mimumn

What I do im my barber shop is a sliding scale, it is an incentive for stylists to bring in clients and work harder towards a common goal. Donīt listen to this moron.

I have a successful barbershop in South West Miami Dade, 20 barbers 3 nail-techs. I am giving advice to someone concerning this matter; Do not pose a me or write under my name, keep writting in all the other blogs and leave the serious discussions alone.

I own a barbershop, I pay my barbers an hourly wage, they are very fast, this way we both prosper, they are all happy.

I'm about to take over a barbershop that has been in business for over 40yrs. The 4 people working there have been there each for 15yrs. or longer. It's mainly walk-ins. I would like to change many things but I don't want to scare them off. I've cut hair for over 25yrs. but haven't run a business. I need lots of suggestions from other barbers and business owners, thanks
