i have worked for regis smart styles salon for 6 years. i have found that no matter how much money you make for the company you are treated with dis respect.there is a lot of corporate bullying and degrading and a lot of un needed paper work for the managers who only get 50 % commission and 2% of salon earnings at the end of the year. the managers are just puppets with a lot of stress , and are at the mercy of the bullies. the company doesnt even provide the workers with a break room to eat their lunches. they have to go to mcdonalds or if they bring their lunch they have to stand outside walmart to eat. i find this i find this all unacceptable. we are proffesional hair stylist who are working in a very tense atmosphere. that shouldnt be so. i thnk this company has gotten too bg and powerful to the point they feel above the law. they can do any thing they want to the employees and get away wth it , with the emloyee having no workers rghts.what can be done about this-- i dont know- iam a hair stylist not an attorney.there should be something done to repare this. i thought sweat shops were illegal in america.
