Is Aldi planning to open a store near Fort Myers Fl..? I really like Aldi stores they have great products. I know a lot of people will appreciate to have an Aldi store around here!!!!!!
ALDI is very secretive

The Albrecht family in Germany is very publicity-shy about their future plans. Unlike Save-A-Lot, ALDI doesn't franchise, so you can't just open your own. If you want to get a feeling as to whether they are coming to your area soon, look at where they're building now. They'll listen to ideas about opening new stores; just don't expect them to be very forthcoming. They've been very methodical about expansion over the last 35 years, so don't expect them to go change their philosophy now.

The Stores are junk, at least the ones in Maryland.Small dirty and the produce is second rate....really people in Maryland use then like 7-11's......just to get milk or bread if it's closer to home.

There was an article in the Jonesboro Sun a few months back that Aldi had purchased property on Stadium near the mall. Haven't heard anything else, sure hope they are coming.

Ewww, I took a friend who lives in Baltimore City to the Aldi's on Wahsington Boulevard. Absolutely disgusting! Wouldn't buy my cat his canned food from that place. Sure hope the Aldis in other states are much cleaner and have fresher produce. Very dirty store. The location and its customers are, ummmm.....interesting.
