sounds to me like safeway is up to something. i think safeway is doing it to save money rather than to rebuild or remodel. anything that safeway pulls off always fails. why do they keep doing such goofy things ? safeway is on the downward spiral. eventually i think all of safeway and the companies they own will be bought out. steve burd has ruined everything he touches. the guy belongs in a nursing home not running a huge corporation.
