Redner's closing Crossings store

Redner's Warehouse Market at the Northampton Crossings shopping center will close this summer, a company official said Wednesday.

redners is a low class store that does not belong in palmer; it belongs somewhere like south side easton next to c-town. it would do well there.

I disagree. I get the best prices on food there. I shop Redners and Wegmans. Redners for the necessities and Wegmans for the good stuff. I like Redners better than Weis or Giant (that is, when shopping for the daily food necessities).

Im confused. I always thought the Palmer store on Nicholas St.was the Northampton Crossing.

And why does anyone think Palmer Township is too high class for a Redners?
Are you kidding me?
Look at the 'trashy' shops that have been half dead in Palmer for 20+ years already.
And even though the Palmer Park Mall had a face lift, its still a seniors' indoor walking rink...

Redner's is a low class store? What would you call Wal-mart in the same shopping center? At least the money you spend in at Redner's stays in Pennsylvania and does not go to Ark.

It is a shame this store is closing. Not everyone can afford to shop at Wegmans. I would rather put my money there than to walmart, They in my opinion don't have the greatest prices or varieties. I also think walmart and sams clubs prices have not impressed me the past few years.

Wegmans prices are much better than Redner's on standard grocery items, plus they double coupons. Redner's has horrible perishables and unfriendly employees as well. I would do my shopping at Wal-Mart before Redner's. I worked at the Nazareth Wegmans for a little while and couldn't understand how a Redner's could exist next to a Super Wal-Mart and Wegmans.

At Redner's I don't have to have one of those shopper cards that tracks every purchase I make. There is enough Big Brother to go around. I don't need them to know every time I buy toilet paper for god sake.

I worked for redners in maryland and to tell you if i was the health department i would coles it done food is not good and it has mold. the office is not customer friendly at all rating 0000

the fisrt letter has mistakes in spelling. but redners is still not good for workers or customers. walmart or mars is good and if i could i would have the store closed mangers are clueless
